Chicken Tetrazzini

Tetrazini is a type of pasta made from durum wheat and has been dried in the oven. It is extremely popular in central Italy, where it is served with many different sauces and toppings.

The name “tetrazzini” means “four times cooked,” referring to how many times the pasta has been boiled before being baked. The process involves boiling the pasta once, then draining it and returning it to its pot. The pot is then placed in an oven preheated to 320 degrees Fahrenheit for about twelve minutes. After this time, the pasta is removed from the pot and served immediately or refrigerated for later use.

It can be served with any number of sauces or toppings; however, it is most often served with meat sauces or cheese sauces such as bolognese or carbonara.

  • Chicken breast (cooked)
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Cooked pasta noodles


  1. Boil water in a large pot on the stove top.
  2. Once it starts to boil, add in your pasta noodles and cook according to package instructions. Be sure not to overcook them so they don't become mushy!
  3. While the pasta is cooking, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 176 degrees Celsius and spray an 8x8 inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray or brush with olive oil if you have any leftover from yesterday's dinner party!
  4. In a small bowl mix together all of your ingredients from above until well blended then pour overtop of prepared casserole dish before placing into hot oven for 15 minutes until golden brown on top! Enjoy!
